Gary was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2008 and formerly in Messrs Raja Darryl & Loh’s Construction Arbitration department and thereafter the Dispute Resolution department of Messrs Adnan & Sundra & Low. He provides advocacy and advisory services in disputes involving general areas of litigation specifically: Construction Litigation, Insolvency Litigation (Receivers and Managers; and Liquidators), Civil Litigation, Industrial Court Disputes, Corporate Litigation; Commercial Litigation; Islamic Banking Litigation and Conventional Banking Litigation.

Legal Practice

  • Acting as counsel and solicitor in relation to various general litigation matters including companies involved in the trust, confectionary, healthcare, automotive and communications industries which covers areas of law including intellectual property law, admiralty law and company law;

  • Acting as counsel and solicitor to various financial institutions for the enforcement of Islamic Banking Facilities including a Musyarakah Mutanaqisah Facility of RM24,000,000.00;

  • Acting as counsel and solicitor in providing advisory services for the creation of the first receivership of a missing person’s estate;

  • Acting as counsel and solicitor providing advisory services to liquidators and receivers and managers from notable accounting firms in relation to the liquidation (both private and compulsory) and the receivership of various private companies and public listed entities;

  • Acting as solicitor and providing advisory services in various private and public listed companies on matters relating to insolvency;

  • Acting as counsel and solicitor representing various Employers (which include Banks, public listed entities and Hotels) in resolving employment matters which includes representation in the Industrial Court and out of court settlements of on-going disputes;

  • Acting as solicitor and providing advice to various companies in matters related to the Malaysian Tax Authorities and the Employee’s Provident Fund;

  • Acting as solicitor and providing advice to a local public listed entity and a foreign public entity relating to a joint venture in Australia and the interactions with the Australian Tax Office;
